Kaspersky 6 antivirus reinstallation

To reinstall the Kaspersky software, please uninstall the existing installation using Windows Control Panel (this is the preferred option), or use the Kaspersky removal tool located at http://downloads.netintelligence.com/utils/kavremover.zip. It is recommended that this tool be run in Safe Mode. To achieve this, please restart your machine. As soon as it begins to power up, start continuously tapping the F8 key and choose safe mode from the list of options. Once you are into Windows Safe Mode can you please locate the file you have saved to your desktop and double click on this.

Then download a fresh copy of the Kaspersky installer from http://downloads.netintelligence.com/NIAntiVirus6.exe. Save then run this, accepting default settings. When done, please allow Kaspersky antivirus to update as normal.
