Password to uninstall is not being accepted
From Netintelligence Knowledge Base
If the password you are using is not being accepted there are a couple of things that could cause this.
- First thing to check is, is the password entered correctly? If you are copying and pasting the password from your control panel then please make sure that when it has been copied, a space has not been added to the start or end of the password. This can be a common occurance when copying and pasting. One way to check this is to paste the password in to Notepad (Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Notepad), you should be able to see any spaces and can delete them and re-copy the text. Alternatively you can manually type the password to eliminate the possibility of adding any spaces.
- Secondly, is the time and date correct on the computer? The uninstall passwords change on a daily basis and therefor if you are using todays password but the date on your computer is wrong then the password will not be accepted. If the date is wrong then please change it and try again. The date can be changed by double clicking on the clock in the bottom right of your screen. You can then select the correct date using the calendar.
